PGA Golf Betting: 2011 PGA Championship Odds

After last week’s win, Adam Scott has jumped up the board for the PGA Championship Odds, nudging his way into the top 10 favorites for the last major of the year.
Rory McIlroy is at the head of the class, with online sportsbooks pegging him at 10-1 odds to win the event. He is followed by Lee Westwood at 12-1 and world #1 Luke Donald at 14-1.
The next group is a pair of American-born players, with Phil Mickelson at 16-1, followed by Tiger Woods at 20-1.
Keep an eye on Rickie Fowler this week. He’s currently sitting at 28-1, just outside the top 10, but he has shown he enjoys playing these big events. As demonstrated at the Ryder Cup, The Open and at Akron, he seems too shine when the lights are brightest. It appears to be only a matter of time before he gets that first big win…and he played well last week at the Bridgestone.
Another young gunner who seems to embrace the big stage is Australian Jason Day. SportsBetting.ag have Day listed at 25-1. He may be the slowest player to make his way round the Atlanta Athletic Club, but he has the game to win this tournament. After placing second at the Masters and the US Open, he could be ready to kick down the door.
