NFL Football Preseason Week 4 Betting Free Picks - New England Patriots vs New York Giants

The final NFL preseason betting games are this Thursday and it’s the last chance for the veterans to work themselves into shape and coaches to finalize lineups.

Let’s look at five of the best Week Four preseason NFL betting matchups.

Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is OK to play in the team’s final preseason game. Because of this, don’t expect Spiller to get too many carries in week 4.

NFL Preseason Match-Ups for September 2, 2010:

- Buffalo Bills +4½ -110
- Detroit Lions -4½ -110

Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson have great chemistry and should be a great fantasy football tandem this season. The Lions defense, however, is far from respectable.

The Bills will take advantage of the Lions defense and the Bills second and third stringers are better than the Lions’, which will be the difference in this game.

- New England Patriots +3 -105
- New York Giants -3 -115

I’m big on both of these teams this season, Randy Moss is in a contract year and Tom Brady is playing for a new extension. Both players will have a huge season this year.

If the Giants can make it through the preseason without any more injuries, they are fielding essentially the defense that won them the Super Bowl a couple years ago.

This will be a typical preseason game as both teams try to avoid injuries. The Patriots will go a harder in the 2H trying to clear up their running back situation.

- Green Bay Packers +5½ -110
- Kansas City Chiefs -5½ -110

The supposedly new and improved Chiefs are still looking for their first win in the NFL preseason. I know preseason doesn’t mean a thing, but they are on a streak of seven straight preseason losses.

The Packers offense has been incredible through three games, putting up 110 points. The defense has been suspect so far, but they are playing basic sets, saving their good stuff until Week One of the regular season.

The Packers are aiming for the Super Bowl, even if the starters leave early in this game, the backups have enough pop to crush the limited Chiefs.

- Washington Redskins +6 -110
- Arizona Cardinals -6 -110

Derek Anderson started in Game Three, so it’s safe to assume he’ll be the starter in Week One. This team doesn’t instill confidence in me as a bettor and must terrify Cardinals fans. The only redeeming quality for Arizona is that their defense looks good for 2010.

The Redskins will be using this game to clear up some backfield issues, Willie Parker and Ryan Torain will be looking to prove they can perform behind Clinton Portis and Larry Johnson.

The Cardinals quarterback controversy will be the difference in this game, Derek Anderson will look to cement his starter’s role and Matt Leinart will try to prove he’s an NFL quarterback.
